Radish is an anti-capitalist, decolonial, feminist lifestyle magazine.

This project was born out of love for lifestyle media—and frustration with how mainstream lifestyle content, while appearing apolitical, often upholds systems of harm: capitalist consumerism, white supremacy, and heteropatriarchy. Radish reclaims the lifestyle genre as a space for political imagination, joy, and liberation.

Inspired by Black feminist principles and the foundational idea that the personal is political, Radish explores how our everyday choices—from how we eat, to what we watch, to how we love—are all shaped by broader systems of power. We believe in the revolutionary potential of the everyday, treating daily life as a site of resistance and transformation, and honoring the ways people practice freedom in the face of global capitalism, imperialism, and patriarchy.

At Radish, we envision a liberated future free of systems of oppression, rooted in feminist, queer, anti-capitalist, decolonial, and ecological values. We cover all of the topics you’d expect—Fashion & Beauty, Wellness, Love & Relationships, Food, Travel, Money & Work, Tech, you name it—but through an expansive, radical lens. We aim to provide readers with resources and practical tools for values-aligned living, without shame or perfectionism.

We are excited about the ways that people are creating small pockets of freedom—building, in the present, the world we want to live in. We hope you’ll join us in imagining, practicing, and fighting for what comes next.
